MOST Program Each spring, Simmons provides an opportunity for accepted students who self-identify as people of color to learn about and connect with the diverse and inclusive communities on campus. Participants get to know current students and experience firsthand what makes the Simmons community so special. We will be hosting virtual events from Wednesday, April 7th to Friday, April 9th, 2021. Dotson Program
First to FINish
The overarching purpose of the program is to enhance the educational experience and success of African American, Latinx, Asian, and Native American (ALANA) students enrolled in the nursing program by providing academic, clinical, professional, and personal support.
This program provides first generation students with specialized support throughout their four years at Simmons. Through pairing students with mentors, providing workshops, and cultivating relationships within the first gen community, our goal is for students to feel supported and have a sense of pride in their identity as a first generation student.
