You can enjoy mimosas at a Mother’s Day brunch or make some at home with just a few ingredients. Having a mimosa or two can be a great time to have meaningful conversations and get to know each other better. 5. Take a class together. There are lots of classes out there to try together. Some popular options include painting and pottery. 6. Cook together. Instead of taking your mom out to eat or just cooking her a meal, try creating one together. You could try cooking an old family recipe and allow her to show you the ropes. You could also choose a recipe you both have always wanted to try or just her favorite dish. 7. Surprise her with a gift. Is there something your mom has been wanting to buy but is always holding back? Maybe you recently saw something cute in the store that reminded you of her. Try celebrating your mom by buying her a thoughtful gift. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be special.
