THE BIGGER BURGER VAN MAN
Written by Jessica Wortley Illustrated by Annabel Peters
Here is a man with a small burger van. The man has a plan. A bigger burger van.
His food is good. He shows his love with a burger and salad in a big white bun.
The man gets up early. He works very late.
He serves his burgers on a plate.
The man is lonely.
He watches TV.
He eats a biscuit and drinks a cup of tea.
One summer evening a woman comes to look. She eats a big burger. She watches him cook.
The woman is happy. The woman has a plan. She bakes good cakes. They sell them in the van.
They feed the ducks. They walk in the park. They go to the cinema in the dark.
They sell the van. They buy a café.
They make good money every day.
They go home early. They watch TV. They eat two biscuits. And share a pot of tea.
