ELIMINATE EMI ISSUES Open Sim Wheel uses Industrial Servo Motors, so maybe, they can cause EMI issues in other Usb devices of our computer. To eliminate them, there are some steps.
1. Grounding Grounding is the perfect way for solving these issues.
Kit Augury OSW Kit de Augury includes the Ground cable between Electronic Box and Motor/chassis. I.
Important: Ground cable must be separated from 2 big motor cables.
II.
Put one end of ground cable from Electronic Box to one of 4 front holes (Metric 8) of Motor and Stand.

Other end of Ground cable to chassis (fork if is necessary) .

Other Kits OSW For other OSW kits that don’t have Ground cable, open the Electronic Box (Unplugged) and put the Ground cable in the Ground connector (Power Supply). (Don’t make it before contact with the supplier of OSW) Procedure
Ground connector of Power Supply.

OPTIONAL. Use cable of 1,5 or 2 mm thickness, with open terminal.

Direct Drive systems without external ground For Direct Drive systems without external ground, we can use a Power Supply cable like this and cut the end. Then, cut and tap the blue and brown wire, and use the yellow/green with terminales and screw them in the chassis, motor stand and servomotor.

4. Solving issues with Leo Bodnar Bu0036A Occasionally, emis can cause fails in USB Leo Bodnar controller. It’s important grounding this board. Steps for loading again the firmware.
-Download this file Link -Rename to Bodnar_Pedal_V2_Firmware.rar -Unzip -Unplug all devices from de computer. -Run the file HE-Sim-Ver2.exe
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
There is a fix for this. I've attached a file: - Download to your computer - Rename to .zip (Google mail security doesn't allow us to send Zip files containing programs) - Extract the 2 files somewhere on your computer HE-Sim-Ver2.bin HE-Sim-Ver2.exe Disconnect all USB controllers (wheel, shifters, button boxes) except the pedals. Start the HE-Sim-Ver2.exe You get a 'Firmware update' screen. If it detects the device you will see some information about manufacturer, product, versoin etc. If one of them says 'Bootloader' here, click 'Upgrade Firmware' to re-apply the proper firmware. If nothing is listed or detected you may attempt this on a second computer or laptop, but then it is likely the device has failed and we have to ship a new controller. Let us know how that goes or if you need assistance with this!
