Avocado: The quantites of avocado of Spain are still limited and at the same time there are very cheap chilean avocado coming in for christmas. When the chilean finish, which probably will be rigth after new year the prices of Spanish avocado is supposed to increase considerable.
Saint Nicolas are more serious than normal and the large accumulated stocks on the European markets are only slowly going down. Next week its expected that the sales will at least double and hence prices should not go down since there are still only few kgs available. The availability in January depends a lot of that happens the next two weeks in December.-

Prices are going up with lesser production. Northern Spain starts
Super quality – fewer kgs. Nice quality of the yellow courgettes.
Capsicum: Cucumber: Today prices on the auctions went up a little and it seems that there are fewer kgs coming in on all kind of caps. Carrots: new crop of bunch carrots from Huelva are available. Cauliflower: Available from Murcia and northern Spain Celery: 14-16 pz from Murcia with very good quality Clementines: Almost beginning the Christmas season it seems that the markets has suddenly stoppet almost completely. Prices are going steady up and we expect to have seen the last cheap cucumbers for this season. Not that the strike Monday helped but the kilos are not coming in and prices just seem go up steadily although little day by day. The increase on organic cues will be considerable, since basically no cues are coming in. Egg plants: prices are going up fast now, the cooler weather has lowered the income of the produce and few kgs are available. Kumquat: New crop will be ready to load next week. They have have problems with the mediterranean fly so fewer kgs are expected this year.
Kaki : Small increase in the sales of Sharon although the markets are still slow. The qualityu of Huelva is ercellent. Strawberry:
Little Gem: Cheap Lollo Rosso: From northern Spain Oranges: The prices are going down although there are few fruits available, and other origens affects also negatively on the Spanish oranges. Re salustianas the prices are steady con tendency of going down now that strong buyers have started with this variety.
This week they began the Collection of early strawberry and the limited harvest is going for the domestic market, since the size and shape does that is still not apt for export. However there is a harvest of Elsanta which has a better shape and size but with even more limited available kgs. Volumens are expected to rise in January. Tomatoes: Good quality and going a little up with prices. On the market for special tomatoes we see many prices and qualities.
