Spain strikes (again) Product Trends 20 and 21 November are the days chosen by the 3 main PAHO to convene an agricultural strike in the sector and a large demonstration in Madrid to call a stop to the "greatest crisis of our history." Its main claim: fair prices. After months of announcing separately the difficult situation of the agricultural sector the agricultural federations, BDA, COAG and UPA have decided together to "give a wake up call" to the society and ask for "real solutions already" for a field that is ruined. " They have called a general strike in agriculture for 20 and 21 November, accompanied by a large demonstration on 21 through the streets of Madrid where they are condemning the "biggest crisis in history" in the sector. This situation is "chaotic that we do not understand" where "not profitable" is the dominant tone, as pointed out by ASAJA president, Pedro Barato, who asked to "put a stop" to the commercial margins. ! Among the requests, in addition to those relating to prices, they ask to ensure the community preference for European products, which meet the same sanitary conditions of production and redesign the intervention mechanisms, greater transparency, fiscal measures and market management measures. .
