TRAINING 2ND SOCIAL INNOVATION SUMMER SCHOOL Understanding, Fostering and Measuring Social Innovation
MASTER’S IN SOCIAL INNOVATION AND CULTURAL AND CREATIVE INDUSTRIES
The aim of this school was to submit three major topics for debate concerning social innovation in the international sphere. The school’s first objective was to understand social innovation in all its forms. The second objective focussed on drawing up a conceptual model for measuring and assessing social innovation. Lastly, a third objective was to present cases that show how social innovation works in practice, especially in what concerns its scalability and transfer.
This Master’s course is a heterogeneous proposal on discourses and practices involved in social innovation and the cultural and creative industries. From this plural perspective a partnership has been forged between EPV/UHU, SPRI and SINNERGIAK Social Innovation, in order to make this training initiative available.
