Total Campaign Goal - $12 million

O

ur Campaign Co-Chairs, Nina Bonnie, Dace Brown Stubbs, and Ginny Frazier, are committed to the success of the campaign and bring the broad perspectives of alumni parent, current grandparent, and current parent to the Campaign. Together with the Board of Trustees, we have raised $6.6 million to date.


SCHOLARSHIP AND ENDOWMENT: $2 MILLION Focusing on the People who make our school what it is

O

ur commitment to financial aid and scholarships is unlike any other, not only among local Independent Schools, but nationally as well. Our goal in providing financial aid and scholarships is to make a St. Francis education accessible to all who desire it and are academically deserving of it, as well as to have a student body that reflects the population of Metro Louisville. Over 50% of our student body receives need-based financial aid to attend St. Francis.


Phase 1: Goshen Athletic Center $2.4 million Timeline: Opened Aug 9, 2014


T

his stunning and elegant gym beautifully serves our students in Preschool through 8th grade while, as an adaptive re-use project, it also respects our environmental values.


Phase 2: High School Expansion and Science Wing Renovation $2.0 - $2.5 million Timeline 2016-17


T

his expansion (17,000 additional square feet) on 233 W. Broadway will return our main entrance to Broadway while also significantly improving the student experience with two student-centered areas: a cozy new Commons Room and a flexible “Space for Thought,� incorporating technology that can be used for classes, performances, lectures, and events. In addition, we will conduct a major renovation of our Science Wing including a new MakerSpace.


Phase 3: Goshen Theater and Performing Arts $1.5 - $2.0 million Timeline tbd


T

he Main Amp is the “heart� of the Goshen Campus. Its renovation will not only create an elegant and welcoming entrance to the School but will also dramatically improve the Theater and Performing Arts areas by increasing the size of the stage, adding a backstage, creating a set/ prop storage and build area, providing extensive sound and lighting enhancements, and providing space and functionality for indoor/outdoor performances.


Phase 4: High School Gym $3.5 - $5.0 million Timeline tbd


T

his stunning gym will mimic the amphitheatre feel from the Goshen Campus and provide a regulation high school-sized basketball court, weightlifting facilities, storage, and concessions.
