CELEBRATE SPRING ALL LEVELS YOGA
KUEHN C.C.
AGES: 16+
This class, as a “flow,” is based on vinyasa yoga, which means to “flow with the breath,” transitioning creatively from one pose to another with less emphasis on alignment as a result of this quicker pace, and a heavy reliance on the classic sun salutation. Our class will borrow this flowing movement and creative transitioning, while establishing a pace suitable to participants, and minimizing sun salutations. This class is most suitable for those who enjoy a sense of fluidity and movement in their practice. Props are welcome for those that have them, but not required. Please bring your own yoga mat to class. Registration required.

VINYASA LIGHT
TUTHILL PARK
AGES: 18+
This class is a “dialed down” version of vinyasa yoga. Vinyasa means to “flow with the breath,” transitioning creatively from one pose to another with less emphasis on alignment as a result of this quicker pace, and a heavy reliance on the classic Sun salutation. Our class will begin with stretches to release synovial fluid into the joints and to prepare the body, before proceeding to a series of standing postures focused on lengthening muscles and mild backbends. We will skip sun salutations and the classic “plank-chaturanga—up dog, down dog” altogether and settle into the mat for final stretches before going into savasana, the classic resting pose that concludes most yoga classes. This class is appropriate for all levels. Those who prefer a sense of flow and movement but who find the classic postures exhausting or boring will enjoy this class most. Please bring a yoga mat to class. Registration required.
