BARE BODKINS PRESENTS THE TEMPEST

QUEEN BEE MILL AT FALLS PARK To celebrate Bare Bodkins’ 25 season performing in the parks, we are excited to offer one of Shakespeare’s most engaging romances. Audiences will be transported to the enchanted island where Prospero and his daughter Miranda have been stranded for many years following a coup that forced Prospero to flee with nothing but his daughter and his magical books. With the help of his spritely assistant, Ariel, Prospero lures another ship to the island—one carrying those responsible for his political ruin. But when he uses magic to shipwreck their vessel, he couldn’t have predicted that the new king’s son Ferdinand would catch Miranda’s eye. One of Shakespeare’s final plays, The Tempest is known for its exciting blend of adventurous drama, hilarious comedy, and most of all, enchanting magic! The 90-minute performance will take place in the ruins of the Queen Bee Mill at Falls Park. **Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended. All tickets are free, but seating is limited. First-come, first-seated. Tickets handed out starting at 6 p.m. the night of the performance.
