I CAN FISH! TERRACE PARK

AGES: 2–5

Fishing can connect children with nature while developing essential motor skills. Craft a fish bracelet or necklace, then learn how to fish at Covell Lake! All equipment provided. Parent participation and registration required.

Tot Lot

AGES: 2–5

Tot Lot is the cool place to be for all toddlers/preschoolers. Activities include free play, simple crafts, and games to get you moving. Children must be supervised by an adult. The Tot Lot Program will be closed Tuesday, July 4. Registration is not required. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be canceled.

Youth Pickleball Clinic

Calling all youth beginners of the game to join us at Laurel Oak Park for some Pickleball. Pickleball is a fun paddle sport, designed for all ages and skill levels. With simple rules and elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong, the game is easy for beginners. Join us for a morning of instructional Pickleball and put your skills to the test during a pick-up game format at the end of each day!

Spectacular Sports Of Summer

Calling all that are looking for a challenge! Join us for our summer sports challenge in the parks! Age divisions available for this challenge are 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13. Participants will compete in different sport activities like free throw shooting, football toss, disc golf throw, kickball derby, and more! Come out for some fun and competition. Prizes will be given away for each event winner and age division winner. See you at the park! Registration for events begins at 9:30 A.M. with events starting at 10 A.M.

POUND ROCKOUT WORKOUT FOR KIDS

AGES: 6–12

Generation POUND® is a youth-oriented program that fuses movement and music to improve focus, coordination, physical fitness, and teamwork skills. By combining exercise and interactive activities, students will learn new ways to explore movement, embrace their creativity, and ROCK OUT—ultimately building strength, confidence, and self-awareness. This class is led by POUND PRO, Chelsie Lind. Try it out for free at the first session to see if this is a good workout for you. Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle to class. We will have a few yoga mats to use if you don’t have one so don’t let this prevent you from registering for this great workout. Registration required.
