A MESSAGE FROM OUR MANAGER: Janet Reilly I am pleased to provide a summary of sales activity for the Monterey Peninsula real estate market during the second quarter of 2015. MLSListings.com reports the following Q2 2015 over Q2 2014 statistics: The number of units sold on the Monterey Peninsula was down by a little more than 7% due to a shortage of inventory. An increase in average sales price was realized in most communities. The overall average sales price for Peninsula communities was up more than 6% while average days on the market was down 9%. Of particular interest in Q2 2015: • • • •

Carmel Highlands: Average sales price was up 54% Carmel Valley: Average sales price was up 44% Pacific Grove: Units were up 6% Pebble Beach: Average days on market was down 27%

These positive trends bode well for home sellers on the Monterey Peninsula. If you are thinking of selling your home, this is a strong market to take advantage of as many sellers during Q2 2015 enjoyed multiple offers from buyers.
