Stallions showcase skills in ‘Garden Show and Talent Exhibition’

As part of the 45th Foundation Anniversary of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), students from the different colleges and laboratory high schools showed off their talents during the Talent Exhibition conducted at the Garden Show and Trade Fair from January 16 to 27, 2023.

With an aim of showcasing the diverse talents of the MMSU community, the event was participated by the ten colleges of the university including the two laboratory schools, each with a different show schedule.

The said talent show com- menced with performances coming from the Laboratory High School - Batac on Jan. 16, followed by the Laboratory Schools of Laoag campus on Jan. 17; the College of Engineering (COE) on Jan. 18; the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) on Jan. 19; the College of Aquatic Sciences and Applied Technology (CASAT) on Jan. 20; the Graduate School on Jan 21; the College of Medicine (COM) on Jan. 22; the College of Agriculture, Food and Sustainable Development (CAFSD) on Jan. 23; the College of Business, Economics, and Accountancy (CBEA) on Jan. 24; the College of Health Sciences

(CHS) on Jan. 25; the College of Teacher Education (CTE) on Jan. 26; and the College of Industrial Technology (CIT) on Jan. 27.

The talent show served as a platform for students to showcase their hidden gifts as they displayed a variety of performances and talent exhibitions which include singing, dancing, acting, playing musical instruments, and telling jokes, among others.

The event is one of the many activities put up by the University Student Council (USC) in celebration of the institution’s founding anniversary.
