MMSU holds Students’ Day Celebration, recognizes outstanding organizations and student achievers

In line with its 45th Foundation Anniversary, Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) successfully conducted its annual Students’ Day Celebration which was well-attended by students and faculties across colleges, held at the Teatro Ilocandia, January 30.

The highlight of the event was the awarding ceremony for the best student body organization, academic organization, interest club, exemplary awards and student achievers in the past academic year from the different colleges in the university.

The awarded organizations were recognized for their contributions and active involvement in the different programs of the MMSU community. Meanwhile, exemplary awards were also given to the different organizations and associations of the different colleges for demonstrating remarkable achievements for their college and for the university.

The student achievers, on the other hand, were acknowledged for their academic excellence and representing the university and brought laurels from various contested activities in the national and international level.

The MMSU administration, led by the university president, Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis congratulated all the awardees and encouraged them to continue their efforts in making the university a better place for learning and growth.

“This is really a good picture showcase of inclusivity in the different colleges. This year’s 45th foundation anniversary marks another milestone in the quest to become a premier university by 2028,” the president further emphasized.

The Students’ Day Celebration was a success and a fitting celebration of the university’s 45th years of excellence in providing quality education to the students.

The event was a testament to the university’s commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and promoting holistic development to the whole studentry.
