Pacto - Mashpi Route

Located approximately 96 km from Quito, in the north-west of the Metropolitan District, in the Pacto parish there are wide roads bordered by the green of the mountains that make the area ideal for mountain biking. The route crosses a large part of the Mashpi-Guaycuyacu-Sahuangal Conservation and Sustainable Use Area, the first Natural Protected Area of the Quito Metropolitan District. The maximum height of the route is 1,557 meters above sea level (meters above sea level) and the minimum reaches 481 meters above sea level, on the banks of the refreshing pool of the Mashpi River.
