DESCRIPTION: It crosses the entire Páramo de la Virgen and part of the Páramo de Papallacta, it has an extensive lake system. This wide paramo is located in an altitudinal range that goes from 3,500 to 4,300 meters above sea level, and has been classified as a Ramsar Site of regional interest, given its economic, cultural and natural importance.
