iN THE SPOTLIGHT: by invitation only

SIWW TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION SUMMIT (16-17 June 2015) Held in between the main SIWW editions, the SIWW Spotlight series are exclusive by-invitation events to continue the dialogue from SIWW and forge ongoing exchanges on pressing challenges faced by the water industry worldwide. In 2015, the SIWW Technology & Innovation Summit (STIS 2015) saw a meeting of minds among leading industry

players and distinguished thought leaders who came together to co-create the global Blueprint for Water Solutions. With a key focus on global water sustainability, the event debated the challenges faced by the municipal and industrial water sectors, distilling the drivers for innovation and key technology focus areas. The outcomes from STIS 2015 will shape the programme and content for SIWW 2016.

The by-invitation STIS 2015 conference was attended by over 300 water leaders from 35 countries and regions who came together to co-create a Global Blueprint for Water Solutions.

HEAR FROM OUR DELEGATES “I think the event so far has been excellent. It is certainly exceeding my expectations. It’s a very good size and the range of people that we have here is very impressive indeed. Possible to meet really distinguished and well-informed and authoritative individuals from the water industry from all over the world.”

“(STIS is) a very excellent place. Water is a precious commodity to all of us. I believe that the water business is something that we need to integrate as there is no way we can work in silos. We need to learn from each other. We need to learn to communicate with each other, share lessons and learn about the different technologies and experiences.”

“STIS has been an outstanding event. It is really great to bring together so many thinkers from a broad geographic base - from consultants, to academics, to investors and utility owners - to have a lot of different ideas flowing. It’s a great place to be!”
