Making any of these accessories— that are either replicas of items from the show or inspired by them—is like taking a souvenir from the set of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.

In 1976, the crew of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood decided to play a little joke. When Mister Rogers went to change out of his sneakers and into his outdoor shoes, he found that they were too small for his feet and laughed heartily. Neck TIe

While his wardrobe is best known for tennis shoes and cardigans, Mister Rogers wore a necktie more often than not. These were usually in colors more conservative than his bright cardigans.
