Work 10 rows in cluster lace pat on 11 (13) cluster lace pats. Piece measures approx 24½"/62cm from beg.

Armhole shaping

Next row (RS) Ch 1, work 1 sc then work 8 (7) sc in each of first 4 cluster lace pats, 8 sc in each of next 3 (5) cluster lace pats, 8 (7) sc in each of last 4 cluster lace pats—89 (97) sts.

Row 2 Ch 4, work 2 (3) tr, 2 (3) dc, 2 (3) hdc, 2 sc, 2 sl st. Fasten off.

Left shoulder shaping

Sk center 32 (33) sts and attach yarn at end of row to work first row from WS and work rows 1 and 2 as for right shoulder only with RS and WS rows reversed.
