Pinelodge Clinic supporting the community during Mental Health Month Now that our lives are slowly beginning to return to a new form of COVID-19 normal, many of us may be apprehensive about many things we used to take for granted, such as heading back to school or the workplace, socialising or even visiting the shops with many people around.

You can pre-ask any questions you may have by emailing nathan.culpitt@sjog.org.au

In this free Facebook Live event on the 21st of October, join us in hearing from psychologist, Dr David Young and Jess Laurito, Nurse Manager for advice on maintaining positive mental health as we enter this new COVID normal.

This is a free event open to anyone in the community. You can RSVP and tune in on the 21st by visiting @St John of God Pinelodge Clinic on Facebook.

Please spread the word and encourage your friends and family to join us on Facebook if you think this could be benficial for them.

Berwick Carparking This week, the Department of Health and Human Services updated their guidance on enforcement of parking restrictions by Victorian Councils. Councils are now permitted to enforce parking restrictions, including Green Parking Zones (timed restrictions), to ensure public safety and support access. As a result, the City of Casey’s Parking Compliance Team will resume parking compliance activity effective from this week.

The City of Casey remains committed to supporting the efforts of healthcare professionals working to provide care to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, they have extended the temporary measures put in place in May this year in relation to enforcement of green sign offences (i.e. timed parking) until 31 December 2020. Any such worker that receives an infringement for overstaying around a hospital or medical facility within the Kangan Drive medical precinct, is encouraged to forward an email to parking@casey.vic.gov.au along with proof they were working at the time of the offence and the infringement will be withdrawn.

The ways we’re supporting Wayss Thanks to everyone who donated personal items in our Foundation Day drive to support local people in need via Wayss. We ended up with 98 care packs made up with 8 to 10 items in each. Great job!
