Hey Spartans! My name is JaeLyn Sandoval-Rios and I am currently in my first year pursuing a degree in Business Management Information Systems. I am honored to be able to run for Director of Internal Affairs.

I am living here on the SJSU campus and have been involved in different organizations. In the two semesters I have been on campus I have been able to have the opportunity to serve as President of the First Years Residence Hall Association Government. Also in my second semester here at SJSU I have had the opportunity to join National Residence Hall Honorary. From these organizations, I have learned the importance of students’ voices and the importance of collaboration. In account of these organizations I am glad to say I have been able to develop not only as a person but also a leader. I only hope I can continue to improve my leadership development. With this role my goal is to create a safe environment and advocate for students. Students’ voice and role matters and it is important for me to understand my peers’ needs and wants. Running for Director of Internal Affairs inclusivity is a key concept. It is important that everyone in the community’s voices are heard. With this opportunity I would like to be able to serve the community and demonstrate my leadership skills. Thank you for your consideration!
