HEALTHY EATING WHILE SUPPORTING LOCAL FARMERS If you’re wanting to be intimately connected to where your food comes from and want to know your farmers, consider joining A Rocha’s Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) program. CSA is a weekly veggie box program. All the veggies that go into each box are harvested fresh from A Rocha Farm in South Surrey, BC. CSA members commit to the 20-week season by pre-paying for their share. The farm in turn commits to growing the best and healthiest veggies possible. CSA is about a personal relationship between farmers and eaters. It is an intimate connection between local farmland and your table. Our season runs from June to October with two sizes of shares to choose from. Boxes can be picked up weekly at the farm or from locations in Burnaby, Coquitlam, Fort Langley, Kitsilano, and East Vancouver. To learn more and sign up for the 2018 season visit: www.arocha.ca/csa or email csa@arocha.ca

Missions Highlight A NOTE FROM DAN GOWE – SEEDS OF HOPE It is a joyful feeling to be a part of the larger St. John’s fellowship in Jesus! One of our prayers over the last number of years was that the Lord would rise up men who have found freedom in Jesus in overcoming pornography addiction to help others. The Lord has graciously answered and continues to answer that prayer. We now have seven weekly support groups in the Vancouver area. At present, there are four St. John’s men attending the groups. Please pray that Jesus would be glorified in the lives of men who have felt beyond hope and that those who have found freedom in Jesus would stay free in Him.

Join us today after the 11:00 am service for the missions lunch where Dan Gowe will be speaking. He will share about his work and give testimony to how God is freeing those who struggle in this area. We hope to see you there.
