A beloved member of our St. John’s family Dorita Uhler died this past Tuesday and is at home with her Risen Saviour, Jesus. Please pray for God’s strong hope and comfort for the Friebel’s (Krista, Steven, Noah (Juhee) & Luke) and the other family in their grief. All of you are invited to her funeral at St. John’s on Wednesday, Feb 19th at 2pm.

What can we say? Grief is complex and complicated but a time to experience God’s comfort and hope. Sometimes it is difficult to recognize the comfort of the gospel but other times you find Jesus’ hope in time of loss is like a renewal of your conversion. At SJV we want to walk along side you in your grief with the Psalmists. Beginning February 6 we will begin a 9 session grief group/bible study meeting weekly.
