The adventure began here. 10 years ago.

The Alpine Club of Chablais asked the company Felisaz to design a slight heel. Two years later, we built our first ski binding : PLUM was born. We began by the range RACE, designed for ski mountaineering. Our bet ? Designing and building one of the bests ultra-lights bindings on the market, 100% made in France. Today our RACE range is in its 8th version and we are very proud of the result. PLUM is a family affair and also a story of passion. Naturally, the GUIDE range is born : created for those who explore the mountains. A robust binding, light and responsive. In 2011 the YAK made its appearance : for all freeriders. The YAK is the binding with inserts that is closest to alpine skiing sensations. For our 10 years anniversary, we designed the RACE 99, one of the lightest ski mountaineering bindings on the market. 2015 is also the year of the WEPA, which finds its place between the ranges RACE and GUIDE. A new concept that combines lightness and precision for those who think outside the box. What will be our next innovation? One thing remains certain : PLUM will still amaze you.

Race

There are circumstances where every gram matters.

When your teammate is going faster during the third day of the Pierra Menta for example. You recognize yourself in this picture ? PLUM RACE range is for you. First born of the brand, the RACE is one of the most reliable ultra-light bindings on the market. Made of high performance materials (Alu 7075 T6 Titanium ...), the RACE combines lightness and strength. New in 2015: with our new system, it will be easier to put on your skis, when the clock plays against you. As a result, the RACE offers serenity even if you have only a few grams under the foot. Looking for high mountain in the Himalayas, for ascent velocity in competitions or for ski adventures here and abroad ? The PLUM RACE will help you keep smiling when the thighs are screaming to stop everything. Warning : These bindings have been designed for racing and therefore recommended for experienced skiers. These bindings do not meet the requirements of ISO 13992.

When a binding designer meet a renowned shaper. Not far away to PLUM company, the Aluflex workshop is an unusual place. Thanks to passion and knowledge, Daniel and Piero are shaping the perfect boards. Since the last 30 years, the Aluflex company design and manufacture high premium skis and snowboards. With them, we made the choice of a big radius for a better precision on snow and a better versatility. The two PLUM models – TALPS and PREMS – have a slighly rocker which provides all the lightness needed in touring sessions. The result, you will ride with a manoeuvrable and playfull board

Technical features - Sandwich construction fiberglass/wood - Quad-axial fiberglass (strength and energy return) - Wood core paulownia-ash (ash for its compressive strength, paulownia for its lightness) - Wide ABS contour (the core is completely surrounded, protected from impact and penetration) - Wide steel edges contour - P-Tex 4509 base (dense sole, graphite, «world cup» quality, black for invisible repairs)

- 41 -

Prems Prems series.

The PREMS has a specific shape developed to the splitboard practice and his constraints. The location of the various type of wood is built to optimize the transfer of forces between the two skis. The focus is on the control in all conditions : powder, groomed, icy , windy, small path, natural kicker. With its easy-to-use control, you could enjoy his natural player side at the descent Hand shape in France. 4 sizes available. Technical features - Tip and Tail Rocker - 10mm pin tail - 20mm set back = float easily and safe to ride - Long radius go hand-in-hand with a apportioned flex to hang more when hiking and a safe behavior in descent - Mounting: existing production splitboard bindings hole pattern Ref

Talps The TALPS isn’t a snowboard..

This is the impossible marriage between race skis and a fish snowboard. Imagine ‌ a splitboard which never sticks to the track thanks to real ski tips and tails, a 20m radius which helps you hang more on the hiking track and steep slopes, a 25mm pin tail to ride center but safe, and a real fish sensation without any set back. You breathe split, so do we. Hand shaped in France. 2 width available.
