Ny l o n PU - c o a t e d R i p St o p This ultralight highly water resistant material is a big step forward in backpack production. Kohla is one of the leading companies that use this special fabric. This is something very special and unique, which also improves the product performance. We are proud to present ultralight products with the maximum wearing comfort.
6 0 0 D PU - c o a t e d P o l y e s t e r Smaller parts of the backpack have to be more hard-wearing and resistant. Especially parts in the bottom of the backpack are adjusted with this strong, but relatively lightweight material to guarantee the durability of the products. We developed a special type of webbing out of this certified material to guarantee that Kohla quality requirements are fulfilled.
G r e e n PVC t a r p a u l i n This waterproof material is flame-resistant and very strong. Especially in our travel & sports category, we love to work with tarpaulin as it conveys the special and intensive feeling of a waterproof bag. We also take care to buy raw materials from certified production sites that follow the same objective as Kohla: Quality on a real and sustainable basis.
Cordura Since more than 45 years, Cordura stands for high performance gear that counts on durability. Not only armed forces around the world, but also Kohla has believed in this high-end fabric for years. Whenever there is a lot of abrasion involved, Cordura is indispensable for us and our customers.

Ergonomic benchmark for more than 80 years All our backpack systems have been developed over years. Our first air circulation system was presented in the late 1950s and was the first of its kind in the world. Kohla has an extensive history and tradition, and the permanent passion for our products provides for one of the lightest, most innovative, and probably most elaborate ergonomic backpack systems on the market.
A . I . R . F l o w Sy s t e m Our newly developed 6-point contact backpack system is super lightweight and perfect for heavy duty and functional adventures. The inside weight is distributed over the full size and provides a feeling of breathability and comfort. The ventilation works in all directions and is therefore ideal for alpine touring and bike adventures. The K-Link shoulder straps are made of the same lightweight PU foam with ventilation channels to provide unique wearing comfort for the user.

A i r C i r c u l a t i o n Sy s t e m The Air Circulation System guarantees maximum breathability and high wearing comfort due to a ultra-flat back panel construction. Depending on the outside conditions you can change the tension of the Air Circulation System by adjusting a Velcro buckle. It always provides the perfect no-sweat feeling together with a perfect balance of weight and comfort. The padded and preformed hip and shoulder straps are made of 3D mesh and PU foam to dispense the weight of your load across the whole backpack.
A i r o Sy s t e m Our basic construction is perfect for leisure and small adventures. The “3-angle� look with small ventilation channels is equipped with soft padded panels and convenient shoulder straps. Our 3-D mesh contact pads are soft and breathable and fit perfectly all day long.
