CLEAN POWER PROPERTIES BRAND GUIDELINES
1.0 Logo How it works The brand logo shown here has been designed to a careful and meticulously determined formula. It consists of 3 elements; the ‘flux’ symbol and the 2 lines of type. The logotype can only be divorced from the ‘flux’ symbol in extreme cases.
Flux : the rate of flow of energy, through a specified area.

The Flux When the flux is used with the logo it should never be reversed or turned at an angle. The colours should never be tweaked.

1.3 CPP logo Construction
The Brand Logo The words Clean Power & Properties should always remain central to one another.
The Brand Logo The distance between the words properties and clean power should be the height of 2 x the letter P from the word properties.
The Flux The dark curved outline of the flux should be perpendicular to the centre of the letter O in the word Power. The lower part of the purple smoke should not be any closer to the word power than the height of the letter L from the word Clean when on is side.

1.4 The Logo Exclusion Zone The logo has an exclusion zone as detailed with regards to any surrounding text or graphics. No other text should encroach on the exclusion zone. The use of the ‘C’ from the word ‘Clear’ represents the distance guide to measure the appropriate exclusion zone.
35mm 1.5 The Minimum Logo Size The logotype should not be set any smaller than outlined above where the length of the words clean power is no smaller than 30mm. This is to ensure that the integrity of the logotype is preserved during reproduction.

3.0 Typography The following two type families have been chosen for the CPP brand. Gill Sans has been chosen for the strapline, headlines and body copy in advertising and brochures plus signage. Helvetica Neau for sub titles in text where applicable.

4.0 Print 4.1 Using the logo on an advert The logotype should always sit at the bottom of the advert in a clear White space to avoid colour clashes with the flux. The words clean power should never exceed a third of the width of the advert.

4.2 Using the logo on an image The logo should only be used on a photograph under extreme circumstances. The logo must not be put into a lozenge.

4.3 Breaking the logo apart The type should only be separated from the ‘flux’ in extreme circumstances. If they are broken apart, the logotype must still be present in its full form on the same piece of media.
