“LIKE NOTHING YOU'VE SEEN BEFORE” “BIBLICAL” lostriversbrew

The Lost Rivers Brewing Co. was born following a lively chat with a wise old man about the Lost Rivers of London. Inspired by his tales we decided to name not only the brewery after the Lost Rivers but also the ales being produced such as the Neckinger, Walbrook, Earls Sluice and Silk Stream. Culture is a massive part of the Lost Rivers Brewing Companies DNA. We’re inspired by the people who are shaping our streets from the best new bands on the bloc, the young aspiring artists, the fashion brigade, culture vultures, designers, performers, urban athletes, bloggers, you name it, we’re on it and we want all of these subcultural movements to be part of the Lost Rivers Brewing Co.

ACME IPA

ACME PALE ALE

RED SEAL

Brewer North Coast Style IPA. ABV 6.9%

Brewer North Coast Style Pale Ale. ABV 5.4%

Brewer North Coast Style Amber Ale. ABV 5.4%

Finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

This easy-drinking pale ale revives one of the early icons of Cali brewing. Clean-tasting and pleasantly malty, Acme Pale Ale is brewed with Yakima Valley hops, US two-row malt & British malts for depth.

Malt and hops are beautifully married in this full-bodied, copperred Pale Ale. Red Seal is generously hopped for a long, spicy finish. An excellent accompaniment to grilled meats and rich sauces.

Hailing from the luscious green countryside of Kent, Anno Distillers produce some of the finest gins and spirits to ever emerge from the county. In fact, Anno Distillers are the first to distil gin in the county in over 200 years, continuing the proud traditions once applied by its spirit-loving ancestors. They lovingly distil their spirits using traditional methods, but with a modern, scientific twist. Paying homage to those early pioneers of the beverage industry, they utilise a 300-litre copper pot still that they affectionately name ‘Patience’. This enables them to infuse their creations with a plethora of earthy and floral, fragrant notes, while experimenting with new and exciting flavours. Believing distilling to be both an art and a science, Anno Distillers’ creators Dr Andrew Reason and Dr Norman Lewis, two PhD research and development chemists, use their technical background in science and their love of quality spirits to create an ever expanding range of tipples. Ably aided by Kim, a Master of Science and biology graduate, together they set to work using the finest natural and organic ingredients they can get their hands on.

The team draw upon their experience as careerscientists and from their idyllic surroundings in Marden to craft their award winning spirits with a scientific flair that embraces, as they like to put it, the ‘Spirit of Alchemy’. Founded in 2011 after much scientific endeavour, they released their signature gin into the marketplace to much acclaim in 2013. In its short time on the market, it has racked up accolades at an exceptional pace, pleasing the palettes of award judges and consumers alike, from as far afield as San Francisco. And the plaudits haven’t stopped there, their latest gin, Anno 60 2 gin, followed in the footsteps of their signature gin, by claiming the title of ‘Specialist Drinks Category Winner’ at the Taste of Kent Awards in March 2016. Anno most recently were winners of the best drinks producer category in Kent Life Food & Drinks awards announced in October 2016.

BREWED BY MEN NOT MACHINES

HAND-CRAFTED AND BREWED IN SMALL BATCHES FOR TRUE TASTE

Technically a Porter, (a lighter stout) a smooth edged velvety mouthful just a hint of bitterness with no sourness deeply aromatic but not overpowering.

A superbly balanced brew, smooth and rounded without being bland. More sweetness derived from fresh oysters shucked into the conditioning tank.

Late kettle hops produce a forthright aroma, flaked barley lending that rich body, ultimately yielding to the generous roasted grain built solidity of flavour.

Estb’d. 1996

THE LAGER OF TEMPLE BAR 4.2% ABV

Amber coloured and distinctly malty in character the triple addition of Centennial and Cascade hops lends a conspicuous citrus character for both flavour and aroma. The beer is a rich and fruity with a wonderfully rich, oily, full mouthfeel.

A superior traditional red ale. Break through a balmy heavy cream head to a fruit filled characterful mouth, poised over caramel notes derived from deep roasted malts.

A satisfying pale ale, generously late hopped with Styrian Goldings and Admiral Hops to create a refreshing tasting, Irish style pale ale, with an orange, lemon & lime hop character.

Hallertäu hops combine with premium Irish malted barley to create a clean cut Pilsner with a redolent hop scent. A genuine Irish Lager.

A delectable balance of soft Hersbrucker hops and malt sweetness. A cold quenching mature mouthful of flavour as far from insipid cooking lager you can get.

It all started in the noughties, just outside Glastonbury, when Andrew and Neil were devouring their home-made cider and a hog roast with friends. Who knew… apples from Somerset Orchards make the best tasting cider. Following this happy discovery Orchard Pig was born out of a shared thirst for great cider, great food and Old Spots, the original Orchard Pigs. Hog History… Orchard Pig’s home in West Bradley Orchards is well and truly rooted in Somerset’s cider-making history, dating back to the 1850s and W.T. Allen’s award winning Somerset cider.

LONDON BREWED CRAFT BEER IS NOW WITHIN REACH. Our goal at Long Arm Brewing Company is to create modern beers with tradition in mind. We’re an honest brewery, no cutting corners, no cheating and we are unforgiving when it comes to the quality of our beers and the ingredients that go into them. We have a core range of four cracking beers that we are hugely proud of.

LUCKY PENNY

IPA - OK

PALE ALE / 4% ABV

AMERICAN-STYLE IPA / 5.5% ABV

Find a Lucky Penny, drink it up, and all day long you’ll have good luck. Give Lucky Penny to a friend, and your luck will never end. OK, so maybe we can’t guarantee good fortune, but your taste buds are about to get lucky. Admiral and First Gold hops, brewed with malted barley and a little wheat give this incredibly quaffable Pale Ale tonnes of UK hop aroma and flavour. Just don’t put this penny in your shoe.

Legend has it, NASA engineers coined the phrase “A-OK” for radio transmission tests as the sharper sound of “A” cut through the static better than “O”. This seems a fitting story to accompany our fresh, full flavoured tribute to modern American IPAs. The addition of US hops give this A-OK IPA a tropical fruit explosion with a sharp, bitter finish that should cut through the most static of palates.

Maris Otter, Crystal.

Maris Otter, Crystal.

Cascade, Chinook.

Clear, light straw pale ale.

A clean amber that you would expect from IPA.

Fresh citrus and green apple notes with hints of hops.

Sweet and hoppy aromas resembling tropical fruits such as mango and passion fruit.

Refreshing and easy drinking session Pale ale. Hints of oranges and honey on the pallet.

Strong, bitter IPA. Sweet ripped tropical fruits such as Passionfruit, mango and grapefruit.

BIRDIE FLIPPER

SHADOW WOLF

RED ALE / 4.5% ABV

SMOKED STOUT / 5% ABV

Flipping the bird, the middle finger wave, the rigid digit, or quite simply “up yours”. Whatever you want to call it, this one fingered salute is strictly for your taste buds. This rebellious, full bodied Birdie Flipper is going to get them raging. Pacific hops, wheat, and roasted barley pack this aromatic red ale full of interesting flavours and aromas. But don’t just drink it alone, give someone else the finger too.

Shadowy stout as dark as night. The eagle-eyed shadow wolves track smugglers along the ArizonaMexico border. “Cutting for a sign”, these highly skilled hunters use age-old techniques to patiently track, then apprehend their targets. This smoky brew with hidden notes of dark chocolate, coffee and spiced mandarin will catch you when you’re least expecting. Careful out there, this big, bad wolf packs enough punch to blow your house down.
