The complete listing is online, and you‘ll want to linger as there are some irresistible buys to be found. Bordeaux

“This is a denser version of the 1990 that stylistically reminds me of what the young 1959 probably tasted like. Still backward with a deep ruby/plum color revealing only a touch of lightening at the edge, the

Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1982, 12 bottles (owc), $27,000-32,000

This classic Lafite is not as fat and concentrated as the 1982 Latour, nor as complex or concentrated as the 1982 Mouton Rothschild, but it is a winner all the same.” R. Parker for TWA, 97+ pts. 06/09

Chateau La Mission Haut Brion 2005, 12 bottles (owc) $4,000-6,000 “The 2005 La Mission Haut-Brion is pure perfection. It has an absolutely extraordinary nose of sweet blackberries, cassis and spring flowers with some underlying minerality, a full-bodied mouthfeel, gorgeously velvety tannins (which is unusual in this vintage) and a long, textured, multi-layered finish that must last 50+ seconds. This is a fabulous wine and a great effort from this hallowed terroir. Drink this modern-day legend over the next 30+ years. Only 5,500 cases were produced of this blend of 69% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc. R. Parker for TWA, 100 pts 6/17

Burgundy We are pleased to offer a remarkable selection of some of Burgundy’s absolute finest. Interest in Henri Jayer and Domaine de la Romanee Conti has ballooned at auction in recent years, making these a magnet for savvy buyers. So legendary are these wines and enjoyed by so few that the Cros Parantoux vineyard and original wood cases of DRC have manifested an almost mythological aura. They will, however, soon belong to a lucky few. Will it be you?

Domaine de la Romanee Conti Romanee St. Vivant 2009, 6 bottles (owc), $9,500-12,000 “As it usually the case, here the nose is even more elegant and prettier with a highly perfumed, layered and relatively high-toned aromatic profile that is quite floral along with offering up notes of oriental tea and exotic spice on the mostly red and blue pinot fruit scents. The detailed and ultra-refined flavors are crystalline in their purity and while they don’t have the robust power of the Grands Echézeaux, there is notably more finesse and even a bit more overall length on the mildly austere finish. It’s hard to capture mouth feel in words but think of lacy and silky textured flavors that possess a truly fine grain and you’ll have a good idea about the palate impression of the ‘09 RSV. In a word, brilliant.” Burghound, 96 pts. 01/12

Domaine de la Romanee Conti La Tache 2014, 6 bottles (owc), $17,000-21,000 “Fireworks in a glass would be the operative description of the super-fresh nose of the 2014 La Tâche and while it’s not necessarily spicier or more floral than the Riche, there is a broader range of elements present and in particular better overall aromatic depth along with more red fruits than dark. The imposingly powerful and tautly muscular flavors possess outstanding mid-palate density while simultaneously offering excellent delineation on the intensely mineralinfused, youthfully austere and very firmly structured finish that just goes on and on. While I suspect that this will drink reasonably well after only 15 to 18 years of bottle age note well that if you want to drink it when fully mature it will require in the range of 20 to 25 years of cellaring.” Burghound, 96 pts. 01/17

Domaine de la Romanee Conti Montrachet 2009, 1 bottle, $4,750-6,000 Burghound, 95 pts. 6/12 Domaine de la Romanee Conti Montrachet 2008, 1 bottle, $5,000-7,000 Burghound, 97 pts. 02/11

H. Jayer Echezeaux 1990, 1 bottle, $5,500-7,500 “Knock out aromas of kirsch, blackberry extract and ripe earth lead to big, robust, quite structured, deep and sappy flavors of incredible depth and complexity and as grand as those characteristics are, it is the simply mindbending length that really sets this apart from the average Jayer Ech. A wine that should last for 25 years if well stored. Burghound, 94 pts 12/96

H. Jayer Echezeaux 1992, 1 bottle, $4,000-6,000 H. Jayer Vosne Romanee Cros Parantoux 1978, 2 bottles, $12,000-20,000 H. Domaine de la Romanee Conti Echezeaux 2009, 2 bottles, $2,600-3,500

“A ripe, elegant and densely fruited nose exudes notes of violets, sandalwood, anise and dried black berries that precede supple, rich and attractively voluminous flavors that retain a fine sense of underlying detail on the wonderfully intense, persistent and quite firm finish. This is an absolutely stunning wine and every bit as good as the genuinely remarkable 2005. Burghound, 94 pts. 01/12

California New is mixed with old in our dynamic California section. Six bottles of Robert Mondavi 1996 in the original wood case highlight a well-curated collection of Napa wines from the 1980s and 1990s, while owc cases of Screaming Eagle 2016 and Scarecrow 2016 showcase the pinnacle of domestic Cabernet Sauvignons on offer.

Screaming Eagle 2016, 3 bottles (owc), $6,000-8,000

“The 2016 Screaming Eagle is, as usual, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with a little Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple colored, it leaps from the glass with bright, exuberant blackberries, kirsch and warm blackcurrants scents plus touches of lavender, roses, tilled black loam, wild sage and dark chocolate with wafts of yeast extract, underbrush and crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, firm and fine grained, with amazing freshness, it is layered with crunchy black and red fruits, sparked by floral and mineral notions and finishing with epic length and depth. L. Perrotti-Brown for TWA, 100 pts. 05/19

Opus One 2000, 6 bottles, $1,300-1,900

Scarecrow 2016, 3 bottles (owc), $1,500-2,000

"Scarecrow is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from two acres of old vines planted in 1945 by John Daniel and dry farmed. Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon comes sashaying out of the glass with tantalizing notions of violets, lavender, Black Forest cake, mulberries, tobacco leaf and fragrant earth with a core of warm cassis, kirsch, Chinese five spice, rose hip tea and cedar chest. The palate is full-bodied and super concentrated yet possesses great energy with vibrant red and black fruits and loads of mineral accents, framed by very ripe, super fine-grained tannins and fantastic freshness, finishing very long with the most incredible perfume. Hedonistically, undeniably and deliciously perfect. 2,000 cases are to be made, to be released in the spring of 2019." L. Perrotti-Brown for TWA, 100 pts. 10/18

Colgin IX Estate Syrah 2015, 3 bottles (owc), $450-750

“Very deep garnet-purple, the 2015 IX Syrah Estate opens with intense crushed black cherries, black plums and mulberries with underlying black pepper, peppered salami, violets and chocolate box plus a lovely star anise and sandalwood waft. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and wonderfully soft and sexy, it gives tons of perfumed black fruit and spice cake layers, finishing very long.” L. Perrotti-Brown for TWA, 99 pts. 10/17

Hundred Acre Kayli Morgan 2015, 3 bottles, $800-1,000

“The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Kayli Morgan Vineyard has a medium garnet-purple color and is a little closed to begin, giving up red and black currants, violets, lilacs and spice box plus chocolate-covered coffee beans, menthol, tilled soil and cardamom. The palate is full-bodied, concentrated and built like a brick house, with loads of floral sparks and a very long, mineral-laced finish. Through the roof.” L. Perrotti-Brown for TWA, 100 pts. 12/18
