Introduction Hello! Thank you for taking the time to look at my portfolio. I’ve been working with design since I was a young teen, from social media graphics, to layouts for print, I love working with the visual arts. I have a history in art and design for digital media, spanning from 3D modelling and texturing, to UI design and digital illustration. But the one thing I’d really like now, is the chance to gain some first-hand experience in the industry proper. So if you’re looking for a keen designer, please look over my work and feel free to contact me!

Logo Design
It’s no secret we live in an ever diversifying world of social media. It stands to reason then, that ensuring your brand presence is consistent across not only across your physical platforms, but your digital ones too, is an imperative step in improving your brand presence. In a climate where everything is available at your fingertips, it’s important that you stand out, and furthermore, that you keep those eyes on you. In these examples I have attached, I took the liberty in approaching my baseball team and gauging their interest in updating their social media presence to help encourage more people to take an interest and try the sport out. Using the already existing imagery available, I modernised stand out content and designed new visual pieces to revitalise the brand pages and help to sculpt a professional image.

Social Media
Objective:
Edinburgh Cannons Social Media Banner Designs: One step in the process of modernising and reinvigorating the social media pages of the Edinburgh Cannons baseball team social media.
Game Result Cards: A template for a visual-card style of post, bold, easy to read and shareable. Perfect for re-tweeting, sharing on facebook or even just copy pasting into chats.

Experience:
Collaborative Fan Magazine Project
Even when enjoying my most indulgent past times, like playing video games and lazing around, I’m still thinking about composition and colour. So naturally, when I was invited to work on a group fan-project in which I would be designing layouts for a Final Fantasy XIV magazine, I was more than keen to do so. Being my first proper experience working in a big multi-talent project, I was happy to get experience working with different departments, from editors to writers and of course, my design co-ordinators. It was a pleasure to work with others to create a beautiful and consistent set of spreads whilst keeping the needs and wants of others in mind.

Objective:
Vector A
A logo in many contexts, is the first point of contact for the customer to a brand or presence. An icon can convey infinitely more in a moment that a myriad of words could. Whether you want to convey professionalism and confidence, or fun and excitement, having the right logo for your image can be one of, if not the most important step in making a lasting impression upon your demographic. Beyond that, vector art has been used as a clean medium for graphics for sports teams, professional bodies and media representation for decades. A versatile style for an endless amount of possible uses. I personally have been using vector graphics to create modern visual content for Baseball Scotland and its teams, offering a fast, consistent and classic look, that lasts for years.
