In 2011 the 'Amberstar' festival consists of an International Contest of Young Performers and a Talent Show. History of the International TV Festival of Music 'Amberstar'

The 'Amberstar' festival was initially launched in 1999 as a telecast 'Dzintara Zvaigzne', which was weekly broad-casted on a Latvian state TV channel during two years. Since 2001 the festival was held in a 'Dzintari' concert hall in Jurmala.
In 2008 the festival reached Sweden and now it is held onboard luxurious cruise ferries from Riga, the capital of Latvia, to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Video records of concerts were broadcasted on TV channels in various countries and internet television www.amberstar.tv.
