MEGAN BARRY MAYOR
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING November 28, 2016 Dear Property Owner: You are receiving this notice because you own property within the proposed Hillview HeightsInverness Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay or you live near the boundaries. Please refer to the attached map to determine if your property is included within the proposed boundaries. The Metropolitan Historic Zoning Commission (MHZC) will hold a public hearing to adopt design guidelines for the Hillview Heights-Inverness Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay and to make a recommendation to Metro Council about adoption of the Hillview Heights-Inverness Neighborhood Conservation Zoning Overlay. The MHZC will take public comment at the hearing noted below. The overlay establishes a design review process for properties within its boundaries; however, it does not change the use of the properties included within the boundaries. If the rezoning is approved, the properties in question would then be subject to the neighborhood conservation zoning overlay regulations and design guidelines. A draft of the design guidelines is available for review on our website at http://www.nashville.gov/HistoricalCommission/About/Historic-Zoning-Commission/Whats-New.aspx or a hard copy of the design guidelines may be obtained by contacting us at 615-862-7970 or robin.zeigler@nashville.gov.
