Student Commission on Programming and Entertainment (SCOPE) connects students to different music concerts throughout the school year. Catch a concert at the River Terrace, Patio & Stage or
check out an indoor concert in the Main Lounge. Stop by the University Box Office for tickets to SCOPE concerts. If concerts aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other ways to connect to entertainment. IMU’s Campus Activities Board (CAB) connects students to various types of entertainment including comedians, hypnotists, casino and game nights, movies, and more. If you are into film, check out the Bijou Theater for art house, foreign and classic films shown at the IMU.

next‑door in The Hawkeye, are group study options with large tables, because not all studying is quiet or solitary.
GEt a JOB; makE SOmE CaSH For students in need of a part‑ time job this coming school year, the IMU is your number one connection to student employment. The Human Resources Department, located on the ground floor, can connect you to a part‑time job that will work with your school schedule. With over 800 student employees, the IMU is one of the largest student employers on campus. Once you get a part‑time job, you will probably be looking for a place to deposit that first paycheck. Look no further than the IMU, which connects students to The University of Iowa Community Credit Union
(UICCU). Located on the ground floor, the UICCU provides full‑service bank accounts to students with the benefit of a convenient locale. Also located on the ground floor is the Copyhawk, a full‑service copy center for all of your copying needs.

Go to www.book.uiowa.edu and select “textbooks.” Follow the simple steps indicated.
1. Bring your class schedule to the University Book Store, located on the ground floor of the IMU.
Options: Charge your textbooks to your credit card and have them shipped to your home. The online store does not accept U-Bill charges. Or, reserve your books online and pick them up in the store when you arrive on campus. You can charge reserved orders on your U-Bill or credit card or pay with a check, or cash. NOTE: Most textbooks are available online at www.book.uiowa.edu or in the store in early August. Textbook availability is based on faculty order dates.
2. Textbooks are arranged numerically by department. Class schedules include the department and course numbers. Match these numbers to the signs in the textbook aisles. 3. Check the textbook card attached to the shelf for the department, course number, and instructor’s name. The number of required
textbooks for the course will also appear on the bottom of the card. 4. Textbook not in stock? Refer to the blue status card on the textbook shelf for additional information.
