The Swisrail System A lightweight, thin-coat insulated render system specifically designed for use on framed buildings subject to NHBC approval. A system of steel rails and channels provide a 25mm drained cavity between the insulation and the steel frame to comply with NHBC guidelines. Insulation slabs are faced with a durable, decorative top-coat - Silicone render is used for enhanced overall performance, with Mineral renders available as the eco-friendly option. Both finishes can be applied with rolled or dragged surface texture, in a wide range of colours. Applications • For NHBC compliant new build applications, tailored to lightweight frame construction • A flexible ventilated system suitable for curved and complex detailed applications • For unrestricted use on buildings up to 6 storeys and high rise applications, subject to Alumasc’s high rise policy

Performance • Fully warranted system with life expectancy in excess of 30 years • Utilises the BBA accreditation of Alumasc’s Swistherm system and will be the subject of a separate datasheet • Manufactured to ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001:2004 Quality and Environmental Management standards • Incorporates a cavity to allow drainage to protect the underlying structure via a support frame to give full NHBC compliance • Fully weather resistant whilst remaining vapour permeable • Allows the fabric of the building to act as a heat store, increasing thermal efficiency • Eliminates cold bridging, condensation and mould growth • Protects structural fabric, limiting movement and thermal shock and freeze-thaw cycles associated with traditional brickwork façades • Highly resistant to impact damage • Rated Class 0 for surface spread of flame 06/4297
