Jackson's charisma, follow-up and ability to consistently remain the most motivated agent in the marketplace are what distinguish him from his peers. This third-generation agent has excelled over the past few years, achieving accolades and high regard within the industry.
He explains his meteoric rise as the product of zeal and great mentors. “I was lucky enough to be mentored by one of the Gold Coast’s best agents which really jump-started my growth initially,” he says.
“After graduating from The Southport School, I went straight into real estate,” he continues. “I had undertaken an apprenticeship with my current boss, so I knew where I was headed. I hold a Real Estate Licence, Auctioneers License, Certificate 3 in Business and a Diploma in Business.
“To be perfectly honest though, the most learning I’ve experienced is in the real world falling forward!”
Property is an industry he loves and can never see himself tiring of.
“What attracted me to the business was the relationships with clients or having the freedom to shape your day however you like. stable, then a cold-storage facility, dental practice, honey-distribution facility or even a printing facility. My favourite has to be man caves at the moment though!”
His tenacious approach and honesty have attracted clientele from all over the world and earnt the trust of his local community. As for the pitfalls, like many industries, you only get out what you put in, and that can mean long hours.
“In real estate, you are the driver of your own business. There is no wage, it is just cold hard work. I found the more darts I threw, the more landed. From then on, I feel it was my motivation and willingness to outwork the competition.”
Beyond work, Jackson laps up the Gold Coast lifestyle.
“My favourite things to do would probably be just switching off so that I am on the ball come Monday. I enjoy hanging with family, exercising with my girlfriend, motorbike riding or enjoying the beaches.”
Jackson has been declared 'Chairman Elite' which is the top 1 percent of the Ray White Group internationally and is part of the No. 1 Auction Team for the Ray White Commercial Group internationally. In 2021, he was crowned No. 1 Young Gun within Ray White Commercial Gold Coast and he is Premier Agent for the Ray White Group 2021-2022. So far, 2022 is panning out to be his best yet, but he pledges to never rest on his laurels.
“My goals for this year are to further establish my business within the Gold Coast Commercial and Industrial market and to reach out to more people.
“I would also like to secure the spot of No. 1 Auction Agent for the Ray White Commercial Group internationally. I am in contention but will keep chipping away at it.”
Born and raised on the Gold Coast, Jackson sees himself being in the industry, helping his clients for many decades to come and is proud to represent most of his clients more than just once.
“My five to 10-year plan is definitely to remain on the Gold Coast. I see myself continuing to assist private clients and corporate companies who enjoy working with me and who are repeat clients because of our relationship and my genuine motivation to help the client.”
