UWG NSSLHA to Host CSD Awareness Event An estimated 42 million Americans, or 1 in 10 families, have some type of communication disorder. Yet there are only a little over 100,000 certified professionals trained to treat those living with communication disorders. UWG’s NSSLHA Chapter wants to educate the public in order to recruit potential Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. You will tour our Speech and Hearing Clinic and learn more about the exciting profession and what it takes to become a fully Certified SLP or AuD.
