What does it take to work as an SLP?
Plan of Study Undergraduate Course Sequencing Master’s , doctoral degree Graduate coursework and clinical practicum completed at a CAA accredited institution Min. 75 credit hours 400 clinical hours Passing score on Praxis II CF 30 hours of Continuing education
What does it take to work as an SLP? • Once you pass the Praxis and Complete your CF, you apply for your state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCCs)
• Permits the holder to provide independent clinical services • Allows the individual to supervise other people without their CCCs, students, and support personnel
What does it take to work as an AUD? Min. 75 credit hours Must have a doctoral degree Graduate coursework and clinical practicum completed at a CAA accredited institution 12 months full-time practicum
