Followers of Christ, Spreading God’s Love
Welcome to Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church on this Memorial Day weekend. Originally Memorial Day was known as Decoration Day, meant to honor soldiers who died during the Civil War. By the 1900s it had become a day to celebrate all American soldiers who died while serving in the military. It wasn't until 1967 that it was legally named Memorial Day. As we enjoy the holiday take time to give thanks for the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Thank you for worshiping with us today.
