Followers of Christ, Spreading God’s Love
Welcome to Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. We are about half way through the summer vacation months, and before you know it we’ll be cranking up for the fall. The new fall programs at Saint Michael are going to be outstanding, exciting, and thought-provoking. The Feast of Saint Michael on September 27 is going to be one of the great days of the year as we celebrate the 70th Anniversary of our church, honor members serving in their 7th decade, and give thanks for the ministry of Valerie and Bob Dannals. Be sure to get the date on your calendar. Thank you for worshiping with us today. Join the Rector Search and Transition Prayer Team. Become a part of the team praying for our rector search and transition process. A prayer station has been set up in the Bishop Moore Chapel where parishioners are urged to offer their own prayers. The Rector Search and Transition team has developed a prayer to guide its discernment toward recommending a new rector for Saint Michael and All Angels. There are copies of the prayer throughout the church. Take one to use in your meditations. Also, if you have ideas, questions, or comments sent them to rector.search@saintmichael.org. Saint Michael’s Worship Service Livecast on Sundays. Wherever your travels take you this summer, you can worship with Saint Michael and All Angels. The 10:00 Sunday morning worship service in the Church is livecast. You can watch it live or access it whenever you want at www.saintmichael.org. July is North Dallas Shared Ministries Month.
