Largo is the future downtown of Prince George’s County and a priority in the County Executive’s Blue Line Corridor initiative. Our campaign with CASA and local residents prompted a large town hall meeting with VDOT and Fairfax County, who announced proposed safety improvements for Route 7. But we need more short-term fixes and bigger design changes for Route 7 to address major safety issues for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users
