End exclusionary deed restrictions at the Chevy Chase Library site (take action)
DC is undertaking a transformation of this civic hub with a new library, outdoor public spaces, and affordable housing. But there’s a new catch: a 1909 exclusionary deed restriction prohibits apartments on a portion of the public site and stands in the way of building affordable housing in this affluent neighborhood.

The county is planning a dedicated bus lane pilot this summer on parts of MD-193 (University Boulevard), aiming to make traveling via bus faster and more reliable. Dedicated bus lanes on arterials are key to making buses the travel mode of choice.

Arlington County unanimously approved expanding housing options allowing up to six units in all single family neighborhoods.This is the culmination of its Missing Middle Housing Study as the county seeks to create more housing options.
