In the face of simultaneous crises—climate, environmental, political, and social—we need to envision a new sustainability. The Global Green Business Summit, taking place from February 11th to 13th, 2025, in Mexico City, offers a unique opportunity to transition from a gradual approach to a disruptive one that includes transformative solutions toward a sustainable and equitable world.

The Global Green Business Summit, which originated as the Green Business Expo in 2010 and continued annually as the Green Business Summit until 2016, has proven to be a valuable forum for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the promotion of sustainable businesses.

This premier event will bring together leaders from industry, society, entrepreneurs, and responsible politicians to explore innovative solutions, share best practices, and promote new collaborations, accelerating the transition toward a solidarity-based economy, a healthy environment, and resilient communities.

To the Green Global Business Summit 2025 in México City.

¿WHY ATTEND?

Mexico is one of the 12 largest economies in the world and is highly integrated into the global economy. Therefore, it must be part of the world’s transformation processes.

The Mexican private sector has a unique opportunity to lead by demonstrating its commitment to new business models that incorporate environmental and social sustainability.

Promoting sustainable innovation through inclusion

The 2025 edition will focus on creating new collaborations between the private sector and other societal actors around the Sustainable Development Goals. The event aims to redefine the role of the private sector and position society as leaders in generating innovative solutions, thereby redefining corporate sustainability.

The Summit will include a diversity of voices and perspectives, ensuring representation from less privileged sectors that are often most affected by climate crises, pollution, and environmental degradation. An emphasis on inclusion and diversity will enrich the dialogue and ensure more equitable and lasting solutions.

Global Perspective

The year 2024 marks important global milestones in sustainability and climate action, with a particular focus on Latin America: the G20 will be held in Brazil, and COP16 on Biodiversity will take place in Colombia.

The 2025 Summit provides a unique opportunity to reflect on progress, evaluate global efforts related to climate goals and nature conservation, and explore their intersection with social justice. Additionally, it offers insights into the changes brought about by a new government in Mexico.

Inspiring Conversations

Keynote speeches and expert panels on the latest trends and strategies in new sustainability, green business, and equality will generate valuable ideas and inspire new collaborations. These conversations will also connect business and social leaders who are embracing sustainable innovation.

Since the last edition in 2016, the world has witnessed greater urgency in addressing climate emergencies and related crises, such as water scarcity and food insecurity. The 2025 Summit will serve as a critical forum to address these challenges, aligning efforts of social and business leaders operating in Mexico and fostering collaborations that build a green and resilient economy.
