• Propane tanks are constructed of heavy steel and are specially painted with a mastic coating to prevent corrosion. Environmentally friendly, a propane tank will typically last for 30 to 40 years. • Single-family homes can be fueled by tanks of varying sizes, depending on demand. Smaller 100-gallon tanks provide energy for appliances, while 1,000+ gallon tanks can fuel very large homes with additional energy demands, such as swimming pools, hot tubs, outdoor kitchens, and patio lighting. Generally, 500-gallon tanks easily accommodate an average four-bedroom home. • Once installed, underground tanks are scarcely noticeable except for filling connections and valves which are housed in a small dome protruding just inches above the ground. Standard landscaping is often done around the dome and over the spot where the tank is buried. • Can be installed FREE of charge. Certain restrictions apply. Make His First Father’s Day Special Dads are often the first heros in their young children’s lives. Dads chase away ghosts in the closet, let their daughters dance on their toes and teach their sons how to win the heart of their first crush. The first Father’s Day a new dad spends with his growing family can be quite memorable, as celebrating one’s fatherhood for the first time is a unique and special time. Spouses and other family members can go the extra mile to make this year that much more special for first-time fathers. • Let Dad sleep in. Chances are Dad is enamored with his little bundle of joy, but it’s well-known that being a new father often means

sacrificing sleep time — especially for the first several months to a year of that child’s life. Enlist the help of a family member who can be on baby watch while Dad gets to sleep in on the weekend of his big day. With some extra sleep, Dad can enjoy Father’s Day that much more. • Create a first-year memory book. Take the time to put together a scrapbook of the photos and moments baby and Dad have gotten to spend together. So much focus is often placed on a new baby and his or her mother that Dad may be left playing second fiddle. Make it clear that fathers are key to their children’s development and happiness, too. • Make a baby keepsake. Use washable ink so that baby can sign a Father’s Day card with a hand

The idea isn’t to buy Dad’s love, but Dad’s first Father’s Day is a truly unique time. On behalf of his firstborn, purchase a few different gifts — those items that he has been interested in buying but has resisted in favor of saving money for new onesies and burp cloths. Or invest in one special event gift, such as
• Boost his ego. Get matching T-shirts for baby and Dad with cute memes and sayings, such as “Couch Potato” and “Tater Tot.” Father’s Day comes once a year. However, a father’s very first Father’s Day occurs just once. Use the opportunity to pamper Dad so he can savor this truly special experience.

Or he may have a restaurant he insists on going to all the time, so guaranteeing a gift card to said restaurant will be a hit. If Dad appreciates not only the taste, but also the culture of food, plan a tour of food shops in the area or go on a wine- and cheese-tasting adventure. DIRECTORY Select Among Clever Graduation Gifts Graduation celebrations typically involve commencement ceremonies, family dinners and/or parties and plenty of gifts for newly minted grads. According to the U.S. National Center for Education Statistics, roughly 3.5 million students are expected to be awarded high school diplomas at the end of the 2016-17 school year. That makes graduation season a season for shopping as well. Graduation gifts can be as varied as the personalities of the graduates themselves. Here are some less typical gift ideas for shoppers who want to give the new grads in their lives something unique. • Time capsule: Let the graduate pull together a series of items that
exemplify some of the best days of their lives. These items can then be tucked away in the capsule and opened years from now. • Monogrammed items: College students may arrive on campus with items that look very similar to their new classmates’ belongings. Set your favorite grad’s items apart with monogrammed pieces that are unique and easy to recognize. • Individual coffee machine: If it’s allowed in the dorm, a single-serve coffee machine can help students make it through finals week. A coffee machine also will help students save money on takeout coffee. • Macro phone camera lens: Graduates can capture all of their memories from parties, vacations and more with a macro lens to fit their phones.

Food can always serve as the centerpiece of such baskets, but don’t hesitate to include decorative items to outfit that first apartment or dorm room.
• Restaurant gift cards: Grads need to eat but are often short on money. Research local eateries around the college campus and stock up on gift cards. • Family vacation: For college graduates, a voucher for a fun, oldfashioned vacation can bring the family together one last time before jobs and mismatched schedules get in the way.

GEMINI – May 22/Jun 21 Gemini, profound change is never easy, but you have to give it a try. Start slowly with little things that may not affect you as much, then build up to bigger changes. CANCER – Jun 22/Jul 22 You may be feeling invincible this month because you haven’t run up against much resistance lately, Cancer. Just don’t believe everything will be a piece of cake. LEO – Jul 23/Aug 23 Leo, you are on a roll this month, and everything you encounter puts an extra spring in your step. Just don’t get so engrossed in your progress that you forget others. VIRGO – Aug 24/Sept 22 Virgo, your creativity is overflowing this month. This proves a boon to anyone who has asked for your assistance with party planning, decorating or other creative pursuits. LIBRA – Sept 23/Oct 23 Libra, this week you feel more comfortable working with others in a group than you do on solo projects. This reinforces to others that you are a team player and a valuable asset. SCORPIO – Oct 24/Nov 22 Others won’t stand in your way this week, Scorpio. You are a productivity powerhouse, and you are ready to overcome any and all obstacles. SAGITTARIUS – Nov 23/Dec 21 Sagittarius, you may be tempted to throw in the towel when things are not going your way. Give the situation a little more time before you make a foolhardy decision. CAPRICORN – Dec 22/Jan 20 Others realize you are willing to put in long hours when you see the possibilities for a positive return, Capricorn. Share this enthusiasm with others and they might reciprocate. AQUARIUS – Jan 21/Feb 18 Continue to be that steady rock that others can rely on, Aquarius. The waters could get a little choppy this month, and others will need a strong anchor to get them by. PISCES – Feb 19/Mar 20 Pisces, sharing your opinions may not scare off others, even when they don’t agree with your views. Continue to be open and honest. ARIES – Mar 21/Apr 20 Aries, remaining quiet about how you truly feel about someone will not be helpful this month. It’s better if you unleash your emotions and let your loved one know the truth. TAURUS – Apr 21/May 21 Your dedication could be the key to putting things back on track at work, Taurus. After a little turbulence, everything will work out once more with you on task.

Ferguson
Hi, I’m Ferguson. You can call me Fergie for short. No, not that Fergie but I am an original member of the Pussycat Dolls. (Well, I would be if I wasn’t a boy) I can sing (the song of my people) and dance and purr (a lot)! I’ve even been known to put on a little performance. I could be the mascot for the Black Eyed Peas….I am the purrrfect color after all! I met a young lady for the first time recently and boy, did We Feel Alive, she had on her Mary Jane Shoes and we chased each other like kittens! We did get Off Da Floor though when someone brought out the catnip, “Here I come!”, I thought. I must admit I indulged! I love that stuff. Well, please come and meet me and pet me and oohh and ahh over my tail (no spoilers), the staff here do put me on a pedestal though! The CCC is in need of supplies, especially litter (Scoop Away), bleach, laundry detergent, dry and wet cat and kitten food (Purina/Friskies), paper towels, trash bags, and treats! Any help is very much appreciated! We are located at 289 Thompson Road in Webster and are open Thursday through Sunday 12pm-3:30pm. You can see more of our adoptable cats on Petfinder and Adopt-a-pet and we would love it if you would follow us and share our kitties on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com /pages/Community-Cat Connection/18375625177438.
