Memorial Beach WEBSTER - Children of all ages are welcome to visit Memorial Beach in Webster on June 7th from 5 to 8pm to learn about the fun to be had on and around the water! Inspired by the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association’s Kids in Boating initiative (https://www. masskidsboatingday.org), this event is designed to support exposure to the marine industry. This date also coincides with National Fishing and Boating week as well as National Great Outdoors month. This is a free event. Activities will include: Touch-a-boat, in-water kayak demos and fishing demos. Families will also be able to speak with local organizations about their offerings and services. The US Coast Guard Auxiliary Tri-State Flotilla will be on hand to talk about boating safety and VSC examiners will be available for boat owners wanting a 2018 decal.
