I don't know what they mean by this, but I've been called a "big baby" and a "giant teddy bear" more than a few times since I came here. Those are compliments, right? I hope so, because even though I have some thick skin from being forced to live on the streets for four years after I was thrown out as a youngster, I still love people. I still trust them, I still want to be with them. I may feel like solid muscle when you touch me, but I adore affection and my poofy cheeks are soft enough to scritch all day long. The folks who give me yummies think I'm around 4-6 years old and that I'm a pretty chill dude who enjoys a nice view of the great outdoors and would be fine with friendly feline roomies. Lesser-known information about Halloween Halloween is a day of costumes, hijinks and an often unhealthy helping of sugary sweets. Many celebrants know that Halloween evolved from ancient Celtic festivals, such as Samhain, which marked the end of the harvest season and the dawn of winter. Celts were no longer spending long days in the pastures, and so they gathered in their homes to tell stories and wait out the winter. When Christianity spread, Halloween became intertwined with a feast day dedicated to the saints and deceased loved ones. “All Hallows Even,” eventually got shortened to “Hallowe’en,” and then Halloween.

The 4 Cs of diamonds
• Color: A white diamond is more valuable the less color it contains. GIA uses a D-to-Z grading system to determine a diamond’s color value. D would be a colorless diamond and Z the most saturated with color.
Anyone who is about to purchase a diamond is encouraged to do their research about selecting quality diamonds. At the heart of the diamond grading process are the 4 Cs of diamond quality. The Cs refer to carat weight, color grade, clarity grade, and cut grade. The Gemological Institute of America helped to create the Diamond 4 Cs and the International Diamond Grading System™. These benchmarks are used to classify all diamonds.
• Clarity: Diamonds are formed by carbon exposed to heat and pressure. Natural internal characteristics known as inclusions and external components called blemishes are the norm. The closer the gem comes to being perfectly pure without inclusions or blemishes, the greater the value.
Diamonds are the stone of choice for engagement rings and wedding jewelry. Diamonds are durable and remain a timeless way to complement every style.
The following is the GIA’s explanation of each component of the system. • Carat: Diamond carat weight is the measurement of how much the diamond weighs and is equivalent to 200 milligrams per carat. Each carat is subdivided into 100 points. Therefore, a one-carat diamond is 1.00 or 100 points, while a twentyfive point diamond is .25 carats. Naturally, larger diamonds can be more rare and desirable.
• Cut: To transmit light and sparkle, diamonds have to be cut precisely and with great artistry. A diamond will be further graded based on symmetry and proportions, as well as how the stone returns light. This position works as part of a team to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, PLC's, drives and related equipment. This individual must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and specifications in order to provide troubleshooting and repair services. The Industrial Electrician also routinely performs preventative maintenance on equipment and components in order to ensure its continued safe, efficient and effective operation.
