ANOTHER YEAR IN BUSINESS Smart Shopper started its 13th year in business this year. It is our mission to help businesses in the area succeed. We design beautiful ads and logos and circulate our paper to as many people as we can through the United States Post Office, racks, the internet, and even Facebook. On the internet, you can either read an entire paper online turning page by page or you can read the events happening in town, with the most current happenings on the top. All of this helps our advertisers showcase their businesses so that when you need something for you or your home or a service that will make your life better, you can find it in our weekly paper.

Our sales team is ready to visit our local merchants and their store to better understand what needs to be done to make sure everyone knows about their services and products. They can help with timing, size and the right message for each advertiser. Thank you Tina, Tammy, Bob, and Katie for all your hard work.

No other publication circulates to as many homes in the Webster, Dudley, Oxford, and Charlton area on a weekly basis all through the year.

Without readers the paper would not be in business. Thank you readers for telling the merchants where you saw their ad. When they know how faithful you are to the paper, they continue to support it and advertise in a paper where they know their money is invested well. That is the only way we can continue to be free.

We strive to help businesses succeed. We do that, not just through advertising, but through services to help each merchant improve their visibility to the public. Bradley Playhouse The Theatre of Northeast Connecticut at The Bradley Playhouse, celebrating 28 years! The Bradley Playhouse is a 117 year-old vaudeville theatre in the heart of the Putnam antiques and restaurant district in the “Quiet Corner” of Northeastern Connecticut. Since 1991, the Bradley Playhouse has been managed by the volunteers of The Theatre of Northeastern Connecticut, Inc. (TNECT). My name is Molly and I'm kind of a miracle. I'm only six years old, but if you'd seen me when I first came to the shelter, you'd never believe I'd make it this far! But here I am, healthier than ever and twice as plump! Between you and me though, I'll gladly do some more plumping if you're willing to supply the treats. As much I don't like this part, I need someone who'll make sure I get my thyroid medicine too. I feel so much better than I did in my old life and I never want to look back. There is ONE thing I love more than treats, and that's attention. I love to be loved and I have so much to give back to you that I'd prefer not to share my people with any other cats. If your calm home needs a Molly to liven it up, I'm your girl. I'm available to foster or adopt, but let's face it, there's no way you'll give me back! The CCC is in need of supplies, especially litter (Scoop Away), bleach, laundry detergent, dry and wet cat and kitten food (Purina/Friskies), paper towels, trash bags, and treats! Bernie’s Automotive Bernie Goncalves, “Bernie G.”, master mechanic, now owner and manager of Bernie’s Automotive in Spencer, brings over 31 years of experience to Central Massachusetts. Bernie has multiple certifications in all auto repairs, foreign and domestic, and regularly attends professional technician’s seminars to continue his education and grow his knowledge. He placed third in a mechanics competition with 26 shops from around the country.
