BIKE SHOP SANTA MONICA
With many businesses closed and pastimes cancelled, Santa Monica beach became the city’s playground and outdoor sports like biking, surfing and skating became a fun way to stay active.
Westside staple, Helen’s Cycles is just the place for a set of wheels, upholding their legacy as the winner of the Most Loved Santa Monica bike shop. Their continuous commitment to providing quality customer care and positive service record has proven successful.
For the past 30-years, owner Jay Wol has expanded the cycling staple, opening locations in Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, Westwood and Manhattan Beach.
The Bike Shop has become another Santa Monica cycling staple since opening in 2008. O ering a ordable rentals, multiple di erent styles of bicycles, bicycle repair and other accessories and merchandise. If cycling is not your strong-suit, a fun way to cool o in the summer months, while getting an intense workout is surfing.
Venice and Santa Monica are the birthplace of skateboarding and surfing and RIP City has been there since the beginning. 40-years ago, RIP City Skates owner Jim Bob saw the potential in the skateboarding phenomena and opened a small skate shop in Santa Monica that provides the best quality skating products for their customers.

As skateboarding quickly became a global trend and a recognized sport, RIP City stuck to its roots and views skating as a form of personal expression over anything else.
The small, family owned shop carries the best quality decks, trucks and other accessories over more widely manufactured products.
