Meet the Editor!!
Hey Key Clubbers,
It’s me, Lexi, with yet another update on what’s been going on in my life. July is almost over… how is that even possible. It felt like school just ended! Since school has ended, I have been sleeping in a lot, hanging out with my friends inside, trying to survive the 113 degree heat, and so much more. I am so happy that my junior year has ended and I am greatly looking forward to what senior year brings me. I am currently visiting colleges and preparing to have a good college resume by studying for my ACT test. Anyways, that’s what I have been up to, relaxing and taking in all the memories that I can. Enjoy the July Newsletter!

Message From The Vice
President
Hi St. Mary’s Key Clubbers!
My name is Rachelle Calimlim and I am proud to serve you guys as the Vice President of Service for the 2024-2025 term. I have previously served this position last term and my goal is continuing to push others to give back and serve the community through my service projects! Outside of Key Club, I am also involved in other activities in St. Mary’s, such as playing on the tennis team, performing in theatre, and being a Link Crew Leader and Student Council Representative. Some of my interests include listening to music, hanging out with my friends, going to the beach, playing video games, and traveling. School is just around the corner, so make the most out of your summer! Also, start your summer work if you haven’t already. (I haven’t started..)

Fatherhood Festival
Hey Key Clubbers!
The Fatherhood festival was a super fun way to get involved in the community and get those service hours. We started by helping different booths and vendors set up their tents and information areas. When the festival started around 10 we were given permission to explore around. We stopped by almost every booth and got to spin prize wheels for cool prizes, I ended up getting 2 Ports tickets!! All in all it was a fun event that was rich with culture and community.

June DCM
Hii Key Clubbers! The June DCM was a nice way to have fun and stay refreshed by enjoying the summer foods and drinks by the other clubs. The icebreakers were also very fun. My favorite was hot potato which our president, Yuki, won. We served spam musubi for $2 each and raised around $70. I think my favorite part of the event was when people started pieing the DLT in the face.

Miracle Mile Clean-Up
Hey Key Clubbers
I arrived me and a few other members were split into different groups, some were planting flowers cleaning graffiti etc The group i was in helped clean up the sidewalks and trimming overgrown weeds around trees and bushes collecting a good amount of trash bags in the process. Overall it was pretty okay all the people involved were super nice and it wasn’t too hot since it was in the morning.
