Meet the Editor!!

Hey Key Clubbers, It’s me, Lexi, with yet another update on what’s been going on in my life. November is ending in less than a week… wasn’t it just Halloween. I’m gonna blink and it’s going to be Christmas. Time is moving soooo fast. Since we last spoke, I’ve submitted my college applications mid October, I took a break from going to school because of personal reasons, and in a couple of weeks, I will be going to Disneyland with my dad and little brother. I have been in serious need of some Disney since I haven’t been since April and if I was going now, I wouldn’t be able to go until this upcoming May, which is wayyyy too long for me to handle without my Disney rides. I recently just finished Elf: The Musical for theater at Saint Mary’s, and let me just say, it was very fun and was sold out for every show, which has only happened a couple of times of Saint Mary’s theater history. I also just a couple of days ago saw Wicked the movie with Ariana Grande, and let me tell you guys, IT WAS AMAZING!!! My jaw was on the floor the entire movie and I never stopped having goosebumps throughout the movie. Anyways, I can’t wait to what the second semester of my senior year holds for me! Enjoy the November Newsletter!

November DCM

Hey Key Clubbers!

The November DCM was chilly and rainy, but we made due inside Health CareersAcademy’s Gym. We delivered our box full of school supplies to benefit D27Ns school supply drive and our LTGAddis gave a presentation updating our members on our yearly goals. We coloredThanksgiving Turkey Cards for service hours and even reached our division goal for funds raised, with a final push from the clubs who were selling food items at the DCM!!!

November Board Meeting

Hey Key Clubbers, SMKC had a board meeting on the weekend before our break for thanksgiving. We went over how everyone was doing mentally physically and with their tasks as a key club officer. Our board discussed upcoming events like the November DCM as well as what we as a group so do to prepare for frn. We also discussed our donation to the Kiwanis Family House in Davis and how we will be transporting our goods to them. Lastly we are doing a secret santa with all of our officers with a budget of $30 per person. I'm excited to see what I and others get!!
