ROADSHOWS FOR THE ITALIAN WINE IN LONDON AND CARDIFF

The promotion of the italian wine was the aim of the Vinitaly Roadshows which took place at Eataly in London on the 8 February and the day after at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

In collaboration with ITA – Italian Trade Agency – and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the events brought together trade buyers, sommeliers, wine educators and the wine press who enjoyed a light lunch and tasting of various Italian wines from all over the country.

The Roadshow were organized as a preview of the upcoming 55th edition of the world-famous Vinitaly wine which will take place in Verona from 02-05th April. It provided a welcoming open house environment for presenting the details of the Vinitaly Marathon 2023 and showing guests how to qualify for the Buyers' Program, which gives selected wine merchants exclu- competitive level. Present in the audience at the event were various politicians including Baroness Anna Healy of Primrose Hill, Baroness Doreen Lawrence and various representatives of social associations interested in the topic under discus- sion. The University of Hertfordshire, which supported the event, was represented by the Deputy Chancellor for Research, Professor John Senior, and the Chair of the Department of Life Sciences and Medicine, Richard Southern. style makes it easy for attendees to taste wines and meet with VIA Italian Wine Ambassadors, as well as experience the camaraderie of the VIA Community as a whole. With over 1,100 members around the world, Vinitaly International Academy has created a unique group of wine professionals who have all studied the same intensive course and are devoted to spreading the Italian wine gospel, as well as remaining in touch with the VIA Mothership in Verona and networking with each other throughout the year.

The Roadshows also served to shine a light on the Vinitaly International Academy, the wine education it provides and the authoritative Ambassadors it certifies.
