Santa Rosa was busy this month at it’s own SCTP shoot and at the Lower Wetumpka Shotgun Sports Club shoot near Montgomery, Alabama. Also the Central Florida Smokin’ Guns were successful at the Victory Ridge Charitable Fund Club shoot. Congratulations to the all the winners.
Several of the ammunition companies are working on deals for Youth programs for the new year. Check with the flyers in the newsletter.
There is a Trap Camp at the Central Florida Smokin’ Guns club in Winter Haven on January 11th. See the flyer on pages 22-23.

On behalf of Federal and Remington Ammunition, the 2025 Spring Youth Shotshell Program is officially open Nov 11th - Dec 18th (Or until product is sold out). We plan to begin shipping immediately and our goal is to have all orders delivered by February.
Many of you have already used our new online registration portal and ordering platform but please read this email with instructions on our PowerApps Registration process and Online Ordering Portal in its entirety. You must upload all required documents and provide all program details during the registration period to the online PowerApps site. If you are a previous customer, you MUST use the program name you have always used – please do not abbreviate.
This is a two-step process:
Step One: Register with our Youth Programs portal (below).
Step Two: An acceptance email will be sent within 15-30 days of registration with further instructions to place your order and payment online.

The Santa Rosa Squad took six youth shooters to Lower Wetumpka Shotgun Sports Club near Montgomery, Alabama on November 2nd and came away with three trophies. There were 75 shooters in attendence at the competition.
Luke Baltz came out First in Senior JV scoring 93, Olivia Marsden captured Second in Senior Varsity with a 92, and Will Marsden collected First in Senior Varsity with a 94 and also competed in the shoot off for HOA.
Santa Rosa Squad hosted its first ever shotgun tournament, The Shotgun Showdown on November 16 where 33 athletes from Florida & Alabama from 8 different teams competed in a 100 Target SporCng Clays compeCCon. The weather was amazing, and with coffee, donuts, pizza, ice cream truck, raffles and great shooCng, there was lots of smiling faces. Awards were given out to the first, second and third ranging from Rookie to Senior Varsity and the HOA went to Will Marsden with a 95! The Santa Rosa Squad are hoping this will become an annual event. Thank you to everyone who was involved in making the day a success.
On Friday 11/15/24, members of the Central Florida Smokin Guns (CFSG) got the chance to shoot in the 9th Annual Victory Ridge Charitable Fund Clay Shoot, hosted at the Haines City FFA Center and Polk Sporting Clays.
This year was the first year there was an all Youth team! Thank you to Polk Sporting Clays for sponsoring our team and hosting the shoot. CFSG member Jack Jennings won Top Youth Shooter with a total score of 70 with no mulligans!
All proceeds from the event will go towards VRA’s Campus Expansion.
Victory Ridge Academy is different from other public charter schools. Their enrollment places emphasis on students with communication deficits, emotional/behavioral challenges and physical disabilities. Victory Ridge Academy school serves students with a variety of special needs; Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay, Spina Bifida, Down’s syndrome and many more. They specialize in children on the Autism Spectrum; children with physical disabilities, children with behavior challenges, and children with physical impairment. Some Pre-K children with developmental disabilities transition to regular/ mainstream kindergarten after experiencing the specialized intervention provided by Victory Ridge Academy.
